Hello, everyone, this is Sherry Zhao from China. Nice to meet you all. I actually didn’t want to film this video But since the Wuhan coronavirus is getting more intense. I had no choice but to talk about this issue. Here is 2am in the morning I guess some of you don’t really know who I am, My name is Shery (Siwei) Zhao, I come from Shanghai, China and this year is the fifth year of me living in Korea. Now working as a full-time Chinese YouTuber in South Korea. Since I don’t speak perfect Korean, my apology. Recently a lot of you guys sending me Kakao msg, Instagram DM, and comments asking me if I’m Okay. Thanks all of you who thought about me. Actually I came back from Shanghai to Seoul right before the virus getting more serious. So far I feel good. I don’t sneeze, I don’t feel uncomfortable with my body. I went to Shanghai a couple days before Luner year, I spent about 5 days in Shanghai. During these days, I didn’t go to Wuhan and didn’t meet anyone who’s from Wuhan. And always wearing my KF94 mask. Where is it? I wear it whenever I go out. I wash my hand every hour. Though I back to Seoul last week, I still need more time to check my body condition. Since I have been to two airports, I need more time to see if I’m okay or not. I won’t go out until the first week of February. I will not go out, just in case. So I ordered tons of food from coupon.com. This is not a sponsored video. I bought enough food in order to stay at home for at least 1~2 weeks. Since I just came back from Shanghai, let me tell you what is really like being in China right now. One word to summarize: Horrorious. The lunar new year is the biggest and most important time of the year for our Chinese. It’s like putting Lunar new year and Chu-sok together for Koreans, And it’s like a 7-day long Christmas. I was supposed to go to my uncle’s place on Jan.21st, and my uncle called asking me not to come. And I booked dinner for 22nd and 23rd and my mom asked me to cancel both of them. So I went to grocery shopping with my mom immediately. We bought food for a month. And I was supposed to come back on Jan.31st. But I got in my dad’s car ASAP and drove all the way to the airport. It was 5:30 in the morning. Usually this always busy traffic in Shanghai. Tons of people, cars, and bikes. But now.. check it these footages. From my place to the airport is about 70km, (43 miles) I only saw about 20 cars drove by us. How horrible is that? Then I arrived at the airport, There were many Koreans are waiting to go back home. And everyone was talking about Wuhan coronavirus. I literally saw every single person was wearing masks. Actually, my parents hate wearing masks. But this time my parents paid more attention to this issue than me. Always wearing masks. I feel relieved and worried at the same time. So who do Chinese people really think about this issue? Yes, huge debate, discussion, and critics on the Chinese social media.
