5 more of my ‘unusual’ beauty secrets!

Hey friends! Some of you may remember a video I made a while back about my 5 unusual beauty secrets. A lot of you really liked this video, so I thought today I would give you 5 more of my unusual beauty secrets. 1. substitute for shaving gel. Just as most of you I shave certain body parts and I got really sick of continously having to buy new shaving gel or shaving mousse. It’s so expensive and you run out so quickly. But I found a perfect solution: I use… hair conditioner! [laughs] It works really well, it gives a nice clean and soft shave. And it leaves your skin very moisturized and soft. 2. Intensify eye pencil color Sometimes you buy an eye pencil and you come home with it and it doesn’t seem to work very well. Usually it’s just not very pigmented, it’s kind of scratchy, kind of hard. And it just doesn’t give that much color. Actually, right now it’s better than usual [laughs] because it’s really hot in here. But what I tend to do to make the color pop more: I just run the tip through a flame and then you will get a lot more color. See that? Just a tip! I do it all the time with pencils that I would otherwise just throw away because they don’t work very well. And now they do! [laughs] 3. waterproof mascara remover I’m not a big fan of products that remove waterproof mascara, just because they seem to all leave my skin super greasy. Which makes sense, because they’re obviously oil based. But for some reason those products leave my skin way more oily than when I just use pure oil. I don’t know…. [laughs] But it’s the truth. So I’ve been using oils to get rid of the mascara for years now, which works really well. You can pretty much use any oil that’s safe to use around your eyes, but lately I’ve been using coconut oil. And I love this so much because it’s solid. So, what I do is: I just put some in a little container and I put some on a cotton pad and dab it on my eyes and on my lashes. Let it sink in a little bit and then rub it gently. It comes off nicely and at the same time it conditions my lashes! 4. apple cider vinegar rinse I’ve been getting a lot of questions about hair care and one of the things I tend mention a lot is apple cider vinegar. So, since I’ve been using this for years for my hair I thought I would put it in this video. Because, it’s kind of unusual. Unless you’re really into hair care, then you’ve probably heard about it before. But most people have no clue why or how you would put this on your hair. [laughs] Usually I use something like this, because it’s easy to pour over your head. I fill it with warm water and a nice splash of apple cider vinegar. Then I just go in the shower and, you know, pour it over my head. Making sure I’ve got all of my scalp, leave it on for…I don’t know, maybe 30 seconds and then wash and condition my hair as usual. So why do I do this? I do this to get rid of buildup. Buildup is usually something that happens when you’ve been using products on your hair, which we all do. I’m just talking about regular shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, hair spray,… you know, anything you put on your hair can build up on your scalp. And even if you wash your hair often, you will not always get all of it off. 5. coffee scrub As you probably know, I love drinking coffee! But I also love putting it on my…bootie. [laughs] I use used coffee grounds on my behind and upper legs. I say USED coffee grounds, so you make your coffee, drink it and then use what’s left over. Or you can use the fresh stuff straight out of the pack, if you prefer. It’s a great exfoliator and the caffeine is supposed to supposed to be good for cellulite and stretch marks. You will notice that – if you look in the store on the ingredient list of anti cellulite products – you will always see caffeine. Or pretty much always. Obviously they’re way more concentrated than your coffee grounds, but still I feel like they really give my behind and upper legs a nice boost. And it just leaves them very soft and and I really like using it. I just make my coffee -and I’ve been using a lot of pads for my coffee, so I just cut open the pad and then I have the coffee grounds as well. Obviously no decaf coffee, because that will not work. You really want the caffeine, so the stronger the better basically. I just put the grounds in a bowl, I add some sugar to give it a little more extra scrub so to speak. And I also add a little bit of olive oil to make it stick together. That way it’s easier to rub on your skin and it’s less messy that way. And also, the olive oil leaves your skin super soft and very hydrated. That was it for my 5 more unusual beauty secrets! I really hope you liked them. If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven’t already. I would really like that. Thank you so much for watching. Byyeeeee! Bloopers: It doesn’t have to be an expensive brand, obviously. Because you’re just gonna put it on body parts to shave off anyway. Not shaving off your body parts [laughs], shaving off the hair on your body parts. Duh! Because then I tend to pull out my lashes, which is obviously not what you want to do every single day. Well, never actually, why would you want to
pull out your lashes? [laughs] Then I just put it over my hair, I just let it…ohhhh!
It’s wet, there’s still some in there! Haha.
